  • Me struggling to lift the 60 pound haulbag that we took with us on our multi-day adventure up Leaning Tower.
  • Trevor working hard to carry that thing full of water, clothes, food, and sleeping bags up to the base of the climb.
  • Trevor jugging up the second pitch of the West Face of the Leaning Tower. That's the mighty haulbag right below me. We had to rig a little pulley system to haul it up each pitch. It's a lot of work, especially while hanging off a cliff.

  • Once we got to the ledge we still had a few hours of light left, so we fixed the rope on the next two pitches, that way in the morning we could just jug or ascended the lines.

  • Sleeping on the ledge. I slept pretty good. Trevor didn't sleep to well. He was constantly worried that he would toss and turn himself over, but we were tied in, so he would have just gone for scary little ride.

  • This was at the belay on the top of pitch 9. There were 10 pitches, so we are almost to the top. Off in the distance on the left you can see the Glacier Point road.
